About

The Sexual Health Resource Centre is a confidential, non-judgmental, sex positive, pro-choice, queer positive, non-heterosexist and feminist information and referral service for questions regarding sex, sexuality and sexual health. Our office is staffed by trained volunteers who respond to inquiries made in person or by telephone. We extend our services to both the Queen’s University and Kingston communities on a year-round basis.

We affirm the right of every individual to access accurate and unbiased information and services regarding contraceptive options, sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS, pregnancy options, healthy relationships, sexual identity, queer issues and other topics of interest in the realm of sex, sexuality and sexual health.

The SHRC is funded by an $1.00 mandatory student fee from the Alma Mater Society and an $0.85 optional student fee from the Society of Graduate and Professional Students.

We hire every year in April and September. Closer to those dates, keep an eye out for applications and more information on the site.
